Metronome
Set a tempo, pick your beats, and play along. The click is scheduled on the audio clock, so it stays dead-on even in a busy browser tab.

Practicing with a metronome
- Start slower than feels necessary — around 60–70% of target tempo, where you can play the part cleanly every time.
- Only speed up after three clean passes in a row, and only by 4–8 BPM at a time.
- Struggling to lock in? Switch the subdivision to eighths or 16ths so there's less silence between clicks.
- Mute a beat or two once a part feels easy — keeping time through the gaps is what builds real internal tempo.

- On an iPhone, flip the silent/ring switch — browser audio obeys it. Check the volume buttons too.
- Bluetooth headphones can add a small, steady delay to every click. For tight practice, wired or built-in speakers feel snappier.
- The beat keeps ticking if you switch tabs — only the visual pulse pauses until you come back.
