Plain-language early-access terms. Last updated July 2026.
The service
xpex is a guitar-learning platform: video lessons, tab, learning paths, practice tools, and a community forum. We're in early access — features and content are actively changing, and some described features (like paid memberships) aren't available yet.
Your account
You must be 13 or older to create an account; younger players should learn through a parent or guardian's account. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account. One account per person.
Membership & billing
Paid memberships are not yet available. When they launch: subscriptions renew automatically until canceled, you can cancel anytime from the billing portal, and access continues through the end of the paid period. If your first month isn't right for you, contact us within 30 days for a full refund.
Content & conduct
Lessons, tab, and downloads are for your personal use — don't redistribute them. In the forum, be the kind of player you'd want to jam with: no harassment, spam, or posting content you don't have rights to. We may remove content or accounts that break this.
Your content
Forum posts and notes you write are yours. By posting in the forum you give us permission to display that content on the site. You can ask us to delete your account and content at any time.
The honest disclaimers
The service is provided as-is; we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or that any lesson will make you the next Hendrix (that part's on practice). To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you've paid us in the past 12 months.
Changes
